I'm not one to shy away from a challenge, but a crochet gnome is still not a project for beginners. The lattice work part of the pattern was too difficult and time-consuming for many people. So, I mixed that part of the pattern and kept all of the original elements from the gnome, including his scarf and pom pom, while simplifying the overall design in order to create a pillow. You're welcome! Luckily for the little gnome, your children will love the Crochet Gnome Pillow just as much as the original. The best part is that you can make it in any color combination of your choice!
